Spectral Response

 

 

Description

 

The KLD series is an MCT photodiode designed for linear response in the 2 um to 12 um wavelength spectral range. The linear response with power is superior to MCT photoconductors.

 

In the standard configuration, the detector is packaged in a repumpable metal Dewar with a side-looking anti-reflection coated ZnSe window. Liquid nitrogen hold time exceeds 10 hours. The bandwidth for the 1mm size is 2 MHz. The bandwidth for the 0.5mm element size is also availabe as 5 MHz.
